President Biden's Executive Order 14008 has enabled all federal agencies to gear their rule-making toward returning Central Montana back to pre-European landscape.
This is being accomplished by advancing the 30-by-30 Plan, which seeks to ensure the federal government is in control of 30% of the United States' lands and water by the year 2030.
We see this playing out before our eyes by the APRs purchasing of private lands.
Even though the APR is a private entity, I am skeptical.
I have visited the APR headquarters in Lewistown. I believe the staff to be of outstanding character and intend to accomplish good things with their work and belief in the American Prairie Reserve.
Of the two Montana Supreme Court seats up for election this last election, we won the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court by electing Cory Swanson.
Unfortunately, Dan Wilson did not get elected to fill the other elected seat.
Watch what happens in the 2025 Montana Legislative Session regarding the Montana Judicial Branch.
All states are now border states due to the open nature of the United States' southern border.
Central Montana's US Highway 87 and 200 are major cartel super-highways utilized for human trafficing and ilicit drug distribution.
I was a law enforcement pilot for United States Customs and Border Protection until I retired in 2018. I have been on both the northern border and southern border.
The northern border is no longer quiet. Just pay attention to news outlets other than main stream media to learn more.
The southern border does not look close to what it was when I was stationed down there for my last three years of service.
Montana needs to respond to what is coming.

"Montanans are slowly waking up to what is occurring with our property taxes. Governor Gianforte, the RINO Republican Solutions Caucus and the Democrats don’t want to return the tax surplus. That money is already earmarked and spent on their social projects. The supplemental additional property tax bill people are receiving is solely and entirely because Greg sued 49 of our 56 counties that wanted to reduce the mills levied. Reducing the mills from 95 mills to 78 mills meant 80 million dollars of tax relief for the folks. He sued to not allow the relief and line the State coffers. Keep in mind that the State legislature allocated and funded the schools through 2025. The fact that our liberal Montana Supreme Court opinion agreed with Greg is telling. Yes the 95 mills have been routinely assessed over the last 20 years setting a precedent. Remember that Montana had democrat Governors for the 16 years preceding Greg. He is simply towing the Uni-party line.
Everyone reading this needs to know that they are being gaslighted: Greg’s “Bipartisan Property Tax Task Force” is the same Uni-party group that wouldn’t return the tax surpluses for the last 3 years. The $675 rebate was nothing more than a ploy to buy votes. But these folks are smart and they knew that not everyone would apply for the rebate. That meant 200 million dollars of eligible rebates not claimed… which is money that stays in the general fund.
It’s an election year and Greg and his group realize they have made a political mistake by not returning the money to the folks. This group never planned on me running against Greg in this Republican primary either. I’m a Conservative Republican and while I have the right to remain silent I lack the ability. You heard it here first. Greg and his “Task Force” will begin the narrative of calling for a special session to return tax dollars in the months to come. May, June? It’s an election year. Don’t be fooled by this ploy. If Greg and his crew really wanted to help struggling Montanans this would have occurred 3 years ago. Playing politics with Montanans pocketbooks is disingenuous. Montanans are smart, deserve better and won’t be fooled again.
Sincerely,
Tanner J. Smith
